ENGLAND'S LEGEND (FR) sprinted clear from the start and dropped to the inside, set all of the pace on an open lead, lost the long margin only briefly between calls turning for home and drew off again under a mild drive. THE SEVEN SEAS was void of speed while saving ground, began moving up turning for home, came out five wide for the drive and rallied for the place while no danger to the winner. SPOOK EXPRESS (SAF) was allowed to settle while trailing for six furlongs, launched a bid on the rail in upper stretch and was just along inside for minor honors. ONLY TO YOU also lacked speed while just off the rail then improved her position in the stretch without threatening. SOLVIG raced inside near the middle of the field, split horses for room in the stretch and lacked a rally. DI MOI OUI (GB) was a bit fractious in the post parade and again in the gate, lacked speed inside and was never a factor. MEGANS BLUFF was shuffled back at the start, worked her way to contention while three and four wide then gave way in the drive. KALATIARA (AUS) broke outward, stalked the pace from the inside and tired in the stretch. ASTRA raced close up three wide, began giving ground on the backstretch and was not persevered with when hopelessly beaten. |

NEON SHADOW was never far back, gained command mid stretch and prevailed in a long drive. DOUBLE AFFAIR found his best stride too late and just missed. A'FIRE was unhurried early and rallied late stretch while being steadied. SURE SHOT BISCUIT set a pressured pace but faded in the late going. NITE DREAMER stalked the pace but was used up and stopped in the stretch. THERE WAS A STEWARDS' INQUIRY INTO THE STRETCH RUN AND THE RIDER OF A'FIRE LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST THE WINNER ALLEGING INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH BUT NO ACTION WAS TAKEN. |

SILVANO (GER) established good position along the inside, tracked the leaders to the stretch, came just out for the drive, took command in upper stretch and drew off while kept to his task. HAP lacked speed while not far back inside, began moving up along the rail on the backstretch, came out three wide for the drive and rallied for the place while no danger to the winner. REDATTORE (BRZ) quickly established the rail and the lead, set all of the pace while pressed then proved no match for the top two in the run to the wire. CAITANO (GB) lacked speed along the rail, started moving inside on the final turn and improved his position slightly in the drive without threatening. WHITE HEART (GB) raced between horses near the middle of the field and failed to launch a rally. MUAKAAD (GB) also raced between horses and never reached a contending position. BIENAMADO was caught four wide around the first turn, continued to race forwardly four wide to the stretch but gave way in the final quarter. SENURE lacked early speed and was never a factor. TAKARIAN (IRE) raced close up between horses but tired in the drive. QUIET RESOLVE pressed the pace three wide and between horses, began losing ground on the final turn and gave way in the drive. COMPTON BOLTER (IRE) lacked speed and was always outrun. MAKE NO MISTAKE (IRE) was five wide on the first turn, continued four wide and tired. |

STARTAC broke inward to bother ALDWYCH, lacked speed, began moving closer on the second turn, split foes in the stretch and closed with determination to be up on the wire. STRUT THE STAGE was also void of early speed, advanced five wide on the second turn and into the stretch, rallied to the front between calls in deep stretch and just failed to stay. SHARP PERFORMANCE raced close up from the start but was four wide, rallied to a short lead in the stretch then could not finish with the top two and settled for minor awards. SAINT DAMIEN saved ground near the middle of the field, angled off the inside for the drive and gained belatedly. NAVESINK raced off the rail behind the leaders, made a bid in the stretch and loomed a threat but flattened out. FAN CLUB'S MISTER went up early to contest the pace from the outside, remained prominent to the stretch and tired. ALDWYCH (GB) was shuffled back at the start, lacked speed and improved his position without threatening. SNOWSTORM (GB) raced close up to the stretch along the rail and tired. PACKAGE STORE raced near the middle of the field but gave way after a half. MIZZEN MAST was prominently placed to the stretch while between foes but tired in the drive. ROYAL SPY established a short lead along the rail, set a pressured pace to the stretch and tired. |
